Tonic Chinese herbal formula with a gentle laxative effect for occasional constipation.

Also known as Run Chang Wan, “Moisten the Intestines Pill.” This classic formula moistens the intestines and nourishes Blood and Yin, and is suited to dry stool associated with insufficient body fluids. Dr. Shen’s version substitutes ophiopogon for the hemp seed of the classic formula, making it more nourishing and suited to longer use than senna-based products.

Suggested Use
3 tablets, every three or four hours; or as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Caution
Avoid during pregnancy and nursing. If constipation lasts more than a week, consult a physician. Traditional Chinese Medicine is powerful and reliable, but it can be complex. Self-diagnosis and self-treatment aren’t recommended for chronic, recurring, or serious illness.
